Truck 134 (T134) is a 2008 Peirce 100 foot aluminum ladder truck on a Velocity chassis.  The truck has a 2,000 GPM pump, 500 gallon booster tank, thermal imaging camera, 15 KW generator, 6,000 watts of lighting, EMS equipment, and seating for six.  Truck 134 is first due at structure fires.

 

Engine Tank 234 (ET234) is a 1981 Grumman Engine, refurbished in 1999 by Gowans-Knight.  It features a 1,000 GPM two stage Watrous pump, 2000 gallon booster tank, foam and tanker shuttle equipment, EMS and LifeStar landing equipment 6 KW generator and seating for 5.  Engine tank 234 shuttles big water to structure fires and is first due at LifeStar incidents.

 

Engine Tank 334 (ET334) is a 1993 E-One Cyclone engine.  It features a 1,500 GPM single stage Hale pump, 1000 gallon booster tank, foam equipment, thermal imaging camera, extrication equipment including hydraulic cutter & spreader, EMS equipment, and seating for 6.  Engine Tank 334 responds to vehicle accidents and fires and is second due at structure fires.

 

Rescue 134 (R134) is a 1989 E-One Brigadier heavy rescue.  It features full EMS capabilities including AED, cold water rescue suits, 15 KW PTO powered generator,  hydraulic spreader, cutter, and rams, pneumatic lift bags, gas meter, 8000 pound winch, scene lights, and seating for 6.  Rescue 134 is first due at vehicle accidents or any incident where heavy rescue capabilities are needed.

 

Service 134 (S134) is a 1988 Ford F350 with an ambulance style body.  It has full EMS capabilities including AED, portable 3 KW generator, equipment for command operations, portable sump pumps, is used to transport LifeStar crews, and has seating for 7.  Service 134 is first due at house medical calls.

 

Serice 234 (S234) is a 2003 Ford F350 pickup truck.  This is the Department’s workhorse utility vehicle capable of transporting primary and support equipment to an incident.

 

Forestry 134 (F134) is a 1953 Dodge 4X4 with a 75 GPM pump, 125 gallon booster tank, 11 Indian Cans, and a multitude of other wildland firefighting equipment.

 

Marine 134 (M134)  is a 2000 Zodiac style 15-foot Quicksilver boat.  It is trailer towed by Service 234 and has a 25 HP Mercury outboard engine.  It has a tow bar capable of towing up to three divers and seats 8.  It has seen service not only in Bolton Lake, but in many lakes and ponds in eastern Connecticut.

 

2004 Kubota RTV900 compliments Forestry 134 for wildland firefighting and remote search & rescue operations.  It is equipped with detachable foam or EMS equipment packages.
